- 1- Custom Packaging Design: If private labeling is requested, confirm the artwork and packaging design.
- 2- Production Kick-off: Once the design is approved, production begins with the selection and processing of rice as per order specifications.

- 1- Packing: Rice is packed in 25kg or 50kg polypropylene (PP) bags as per the client’s request.
- 2- Quality Assurance: Each batch undergoes quality checks including grain length, moisture content, and breakage percentage.
- 3- Pre-Shipment Inspection: A third-party inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas is conducted to ensure compliance with Kenyan standards and international export quality. The inspection report is shared with the client.

Day 11-15: Container Loading and Customs Clearance
- 1- Container Loading: Rice is loaded into 20’ or 40’ containers, secured and sealed for shipping.
- 2- Customs and Documentation: Export documentation is prepared and customs clearance is obtained. Documents include the Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Fumigation Certificate.

- 1- Freight Booking: Confirm the booking with shipping lines such as Maersk, MSC, or CMA CGM to ensure the earliest departure.
- 2- Departure: Containers are shipped from Karachi port, beginning their transit to Mombasa, Kenya.

- 1- En Route: The average sea transit time from Karachi to Mombasa is approximately 22-24 days under normal weather and operational conditions.
