Rice is packed in 25kg or 50kg polypropylene (PP) bags as per the client’s request. Each batch undergoes quality checks including grain length, moisture content, and breakage percentage. A third-party inspection by agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas is conducted to ensure compliance with Djibouti standards and international export quality.

Day 11-15: Container Loading and Customs Clearance
Rice is loaded into 20’ or 40’ containers, secured and sealed for shipping. Export documentation is prepared and customs clearance is obtained. Documents include the Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Fumigation Certificate.

Day 16-17: Departure from Karachi
Confirm the booking with shipping lines such as Maersk, MSC, or CMA CGM to ensure the earliest departure. Containers are shipped from Karachi port, beginning their transit to Djibouti.

The average sea transit time from Karachi to Djibouti is approximately 22-24 days under normal weather and operational conditions. Regular updates regarding the vessel's location and estimated arrival date are provided.
